This is Mrs. Edwards 10th year as the School Counselor at Sinclair Elementary. She enjoys working and helping students to be the best learners. Mrs. Edwards is a graduate of George Mason University. She is married and lives in Woodbridge. She has three daughters and a dog name Lilo.

This is Ms. Downs' 4th year as a School Counselor at Sinclair Elementary. She had spent her previous 12 years in education as a classroom teacher in PWCS. She is from California. She loves to read and self-care. Her favorite place is the beach.

Ms. Potts is a graduate of University of Delaware and received her graduate degree at Shippensburg University. This is her first year as a school counselor after 22 years as a Special Education Teacher. She is from Pennsylvania and is looking forward to working with our Eagles. I have a 16-year-old son and 3 cats.

All students at Sinclair Elementary School will be provided equity and access in a comprehensive school counseling program to reach their full potential to achieve academically, socially and emotionally in order to pursue their post-secondary career goals. The school counseling department will be a community-friendly environment that will be student focused and collaborative with all students and stakeholders thereby empowering every student for success in order to become lifelong learners in a global society.
PWCS cares deeply about students' emotional well-being during their time away from school. If a student is in need of emotional support during this time, please feel free to send an email to one of the counselors. A school mental health or health professional will answer and offer virtual support to students to the best of their ability. This email is not to be used for emergency situations as it will not be monitored 24 hours a day. If a student is ever in an emergency situation he/she is encouraged to call 911 or utilize one of the resources listed below:
