About Me

Teaching is an absolute passion for me and I am so excited to be working with you and your child. It’s going to be a year filled with fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us! I thought you might want to know a little bit about me.

I have two children, Kira and Jack. Kira is in 8th grade and Jack is in 5th grade. They take up most of my free time but, some of the hobbies that I enjoy are: reading, watching movies, and cooking.

I have lived many places in my life. Some of my favorites were: Washington State, Italy, California, and of course, Northern Virginia. I’m the oldest of two and have a brother that lives in Oklahoma City.

I have a Masters in Elementary Education and a Bachelors in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. This will be my first year teaching 1st grade at Sinclair Elementary.  Previously, I taught at River Oaks Elementary.  It is my mission to instill a love of learning in my students. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need. I look forward to a great year together.
