Sending BIG virtual hugs to all our Sinclair Eagles! 💕

While all our eagles are at home with their families, know that Mrs. Gresham, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. Centamore miss reading, writing, and talking about books with you. When we return to school, we cannot wait to hear about all the great books you read (We know teachers sent home lots of great books to read!).

Please check our web page often as we will be updating it with resources, activities, and links to websites that you can use to listen to books, read books, increase your  vocabulary knowledge, master sight and high-frequency words, and practice those reading skills you have learned. In the meantime, here are just a few ideas that you can use to have fun with reading and writing.
  • Play Concentration with vocabulary and definitions
  • Hunt for sight words on cereal boxes or in your take-home books
  • Act out your favorite book with your family
  • Create "My Favorite" lists
  • Write a new ending to a book
  • Send your teacher or principal an email to say "Hi!"
  • Read a book to your pet
Remember, we are just an email away and would love to answer your questions and stay in touch!

Happy Reading and Go Eagles! 🦅
