About Mr. L

This is my 4th year teaching Physical Education and my 6th year working in education.  Before becoming a PE teacher, I worked in sports marketing for the Wizards/Mystics/Capitals.  After deciding to make a career change, I began substitute teaching and working as an after school activities assistant at a middle school.  As soon as I began substitute teaching, I knew I wanted to become a full-time teacher.  I found so much joy and purpose in educating.  Being able to see the growth and product of my students' work was incredibly fulfilling. I chose PE because of my experiences working/playing/coaching a variety of sports, including: basketball, baseball, tennis, and volleyball.  Sinclair Elementary has been the best school I have ever taught at and it is all thanks to the amazing students, who are full of energy and kindness.
